The students at my school have a locker for their skateboards, but unfortunately there aren't any lockers for their school books. In all fairness to the school, our school is currently under construction. The school decided against placing school book lockers during the construction period to save money.
This is an interesting point, having lockers for books. I never had a locker in middle school or high school and never really saw it as a disadvantage because often teachers had class sets of books. However, with the large budget cuts, I can see the amount of books available as an issue, which would require students to bring books back and forth, and can provide them a lot of physical stress if they don't have a place to store them.
